WYPPF (World Youth Peace Propagation Forum) has conducted an information campaign, on June 16^th at Kathmandu. 24 persons from 12 Non-Government organizations from Kathmandu valley actively participated and feel delighted with the information on” Millennium Development Goals”  and also put their valuable views.

On the Internet you can find many video's related to the MDG's.

Training cum information campaign.

40 students and 20 teachers participate in information campaign held on 9^th June, organized by World Youth Peace Propagation Forum. Discussion on Millennium Development Goals, and training to the students, and teachers were conducted to utilize them as multiplier for flow of information on MDG’s.     

This is quite a good video from a good series. Its a talk by a Swedish guy who has spent 20 years in Africa trying to improve the standard of living for the locals. He says that poverty can be reversed in places like Africa and that it is happening today.

On the 10th of June project "2015.lv" group went out with the pilotversion of Millennium Development Goals tent – interactive, informative tool to become closer society and to informe them there, where they are, for example, open-air rock festivals. In this time we cooperated with organizers of festival „Kafijas vakars Pilskalnos” (from latvian – „Cofee evening in Pilskalni”).

Movies from around the world

On the 28th of June there will be a movie evening organised at Loesje's imagination. The movies are all related to the Millennium Development Goals set by the UN to end poverty. It is a selection of documentaries made by people from different countries including Germany. Some of the documentaries are also avalaible online.

Wow, last sunday was a blast!

Our orange shirt wearing, balloon-covered, group set out to meet 250 000 other cyclists forming a gigantic traffic-stopping snake crawling through berling's streets and highways.

We handed out balloons to happy people all around and waved at angry car drivers waiting and waiting and waiting a bit more till finally ther last happy cyclist had passed and they could grumpily carry on in their stinky cars.

From this moment, Latvian group has our own domain -  2015.lv - for this and fallowing actions in field of MDGs. In webpage people will find information about this project and other MDG campaigns, links, photos, and other information...
