The world is too round to sit silently in the corner

This is quite a good video from a good series. Its a talk by a Swedish guy who has spent 20 years in Africa trying to improve the standard of living for the locals. He says that poverty can be reversed in places like Africa and that it is happening today.

Its good to see that people are starting to use the site, writing Blog entry and uploading images. What we need to do when ever we put content in is select which of the MDGs the new image, blog post belongs to.

I have been fiddling around with this Drupal thing for awhile now and have made some progress. Its a big learning curve as there is so much to know but there is so much it can do. I hope the Organic Groups take off. I think one for each country in the project would be good. Hopefully it will be a way for all the groups to talk to each other and participate.

Some ideas for forums would be good. I guess both English and Russian forums would be needed as people tend to want to chat in their own language. I just hope they will still participate in the English forums too.
